Challenge

The DBS Lifestyle App provides DBS customers with access to all card privileges, benefits and rewards. However, due to the competitive nature of the environment DBS were looking for new ways to keep its credit cards top of mind.

DBS were seeking:

  • To constantly update the card privileges, benefits and rewards that are on offer at over 1,000 establishments islandwide in order to increase users’ interest and activity.
  • To deliver highly relevant deals and information to the user at the right place, right time where they are most likely to redeem mobile coupon deals.
  • To apply consumer insights from analysing users’ in-app behaviour to ensure that the most compelling, relevant and rewarding experiences were delivered.

Solution

The 3radical Voco platform enabled the DBS Lifestyle app to increase user engagement, mobile coupon redemption, and card spend through:

Creating and updating on a daily basis, up to 800+ specific DBS card deals and mobile coupons.

Automatically delivering location-based push notifications whenever users are within a 500-metre radius of a participating merchant.

Integrating various plugin games into the DBS Lifestyle App, branded to each individual partnered merchant, with different engagement tactics.

Enabling cardholders to retrieve and redeem mobile coupons very easily through their mobile wallet.
