David Eldridge, Chief Executive Officer
David established his first company at the age of 14 to market his software which won first prize in the BBC National Schools Software Competition. Following University, David spent four years in several roles within Royal Dutch Shell Group including the Aviation, Consulting and Distribution divisions followed by four years leading corporate development with GB Group plc where he established their marketing services division and led the development and launch of several new products.
In 1997 he co-founded Alterian plc, led it’s IPO on London’s Main Market in 2000, and was its CEO until 2011. During his tenure David led Alterian to become a recognised leader in technology for multi-channel marketing including web, social media, email and traditional channels, with revenues of circa £40m and operations across the UK, Europe, US and Asia Pacific.
David is an accomplished industry commentator and has featured in rankings such as BtoB Magazine’s “Who’s who in BtoB” and Data Strategy’s “Power 50 in Data”.
He is joint founder and CEO of 3radical, and also sits on the Board of several high growth technology companies
Mike Talbot, President and Chief Visionary
Mike started his career as a game programmer and designer, then a freelance consultant designing and producing multimedia applications, before joining Brann Software as technical director.
In 1997 Mike co-founded Alterian, and in his role as CTO and latterly President, was responsible for the market vision of the Alterian product range and the technology vision that underpinned it. His innovation in customer engagement technologies helped Alterian grow to a recognised leader in the market for multi-channel marketing communications.
As joint founder, President and Chief Visionary for 3radical, Mike is responsible for the innovation that underpins our disruptive technologies, for implementing that within our products, and effectively communicating it to the market.
Tim Mccarthy, Research & Development
After working with the first generation of PC-based accounting systems, Tim entered the rapidly expanding world of computer entertainment, developing over 30 games in 6 years. At the end of this period he joined Ubisoft and subsequently its parent company, Guillemot Informatique, in Paris. After writing automated data protection systems at Iomega in Utah, and California, he helped Brann Limited to develop its marketing information software.
Jointly founding Alterian in 1997, Tim was responsible for the design and development of Alterian’s analytics technology. This was at the core of the Alterian proposition – enabling marketers to understand consumer behaviour at an individual level before taking action to effect highly relevant communications.
At 3radical, Tim has designed and built the highly scalable analytics and campaign management environment that underpins brand communications within the 3radical platform.
Chris Tew, EVP Asia Pacific
With his commitment to customer success, Chris has established a solid track record over the years of building businesses in Asia Pacific.
Chris previously set up the Australian operations for web content management company Mediasurface, winning key clients such as Westpac. When Mediasurface was acquired by Alterian plc in 2009, Chris led the operations for the combined customer engagement business, relocating to Singapore and building operations across South East Asia, making it the fastest growing region for the company. Following Alterian’s acquisition by SDL in 2011, Chris became Executive Vice President for Asia Pacific for SDL.
As Executive Vice President for Asia Pacific at 3radical, Chris leads all sales, marketing and operations in the region, which has been identified as a key market for the company.
Clive Armitage, Non-Executive Director
Clive is a founder and managing partner of digital marketing consultancy, agent3. agent3 helps customers build engagement focused marketing campaigns for organisations through the creative application of data, technology and content.
Clive co-founded agent3 in January 2013 after 18 years at Bite Communications, a global communications consultancy. For 15 of those years Clive was the CEO at Bite and helped grow the business from the original five founders in one London office to more than 300 people worldwide in 14 different locations. In doing so, Clive spent five years between 2003 and 2008 working from Bite’s California offices in San Francisco and Palo Alto.
Prior to co-founding Bite, Clive spent five years at hi-tech firm Text 100, which he joined as an Account Executive in 1990. During his time at Text 100, he was seconded to Johannesburg, South Africa to help set up and establish Text 100’s first presence in Africa.
Until recently, Clive was the Chairman of The Lexis Agency; a multi award winning London based consumer PR agency. He held this post since January 2009.
As well as his commercial roles, Clive is a trustee of LionsRaw, a charitable organisation dedicated to directing football fans towards volunteer work with vulnerable and impoverished children worldwide.
George Stavrinidis, Non-Executive Director
George is Managing Director of Lone Worker Solutions, and has formerly held positions with Perot Systems, Accenture and BP Oil.
His roles have spanned sales, marketing and strategic consulting and he brings this wide ranging experience to the Board.
George also advises several other high growth companies.
